Dr. Michele Gaspar is Licensed as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Illinois and presently is completing her Counseling Externship with Mark D. Parisi, Psy.D. & Associates, P.C. toward earning her LCPC.
Dr. Gaspar completed her Bachelor of Science Degree (B.S.) from Northwestern University in 1975 and went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and has practiced as a Veterinarian ever since. She decided to pursue a second career in counseling and completed her Master of Arts Degree (M.A.) in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola University in Chicago in 2012.
Dr. Gaspar has completed prestigous certificate programs in Adult Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and Mindfulness and Psychotherapy. She worked as a student intern at Turning Point Behavioral Health Care Center in Skokie from 2011-2012 and as a staff psychotherapist at the C.G. Jung Center in Evanston from 2013-2015. Dr. Gaspar presently works as a staff psychotherapist at Samaritan Counseling Centers in Evanston and Arlington Heights where she provides weekly psychotherapy sessions to adult clientele.
Dr. Gaspar remains true to her love of animals and continues to serve as a consultant to the Veterinary Information Network.
