Anne Gephart Moore, Psy.D. is licensed as a Clinical Psychologist in the State of Illinois.  She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree (B.S.) in Biology from Northern Illinois University and went on to earn Master of Science in Education (M.S. Ed) from the same college in 1986.  Dr. Moore earned her Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in 1988.

Dr. Moore’s long and illustrious career as a Clinical Psychologist spans nearly twenty years where she has worked in a wide array of capacities.  Dr. Moore operated her own private practice in Arlington Heights for over sixteen years focused on serving the needs of adults, geriatric clients, and families.  Her specialties in private practice included working with depression and anxiety, working on bereavement and grief issues, helping caregivers coping with burnout, managing behavioral complications related to dementia, helping families cope with divorce and parenting challenges, dealing with eating disorders, substance abuse, and providing expert neuropsychological evaluation of Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury, and pre-surgical clearance.  Dr. Moore has become a well-respected authority in the area of Foster Care – having served as a consultant to Camelot Care Centers and as an expert witness in Cook County Juvenile Court and the Department of Children and Family Services.

Dr. Moore’s treatment approach is based upon maintaining a nonjudgmental attitude and safe therapeutic environment for her clients.  She utilizes a direct, yet empathic, therapeutic style – partnering with her clients to realize the best versions of themselves.  Her utmost goal in counseling is to allow her clients to leave sessions feeling understood and supported.  To help her clients realize change, Dr. Moore uses a collaborative, strength-based approach which helps her clients gain insight, set goals, and develop realistic strategies to increase overall happiness and life satisfaction.

Dr. Moore joined Dr. Parisi & Associates, P.C. in 2017 and has worked both a neuropsychologist as well as an outpatient provider working in the Mount Prospect office location.
