Kylie Roxas, LPC is credentialed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Illinois.  She earned her Master of Arts Degree (M.A.) in Counseling Psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.  Kylie has a special interest in health psychology – particularly with health promotion and wellness.

Coming from a collectivist culture, Kylie is cognizant of individualized mental health needs of everyone across different cultural and social backgrounds.  Her therapeutic approach in therapy is integrative drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems within a multicultural framework.  Kylie received her clinical internship training as an outpatient psychotherapist working with children, adolescents, and adults with various co-occurring mental health diagnoses.  She has experience providing individual, group, and family counseling services to meet the psychosocial needs of her clients.

Kylie has previously worked in a psychiatric hospital for clients with severe mental illness.  She also has experience working in senior community centers and long-term care settings with geriatric clients affording her the opportunity to understand the aging process and its psychological impact to one’s mental health.

Kylie joined Mark D. Parisi, Psy.D. & Associates, P.C. in 2018 as an outpatient counseling extern working with adolescents and adults.  Kylie is a fully bilingual therapist – a native speaker of Tagalog (Filipino) and values cultural diversity in her work.
