Ms. Susan Reyna-Guerrero, LCSW is Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Illinois and as a School Social Worker (Type 73) also in Illinois. She completed her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from the DePaul University of Chicago in 1984 and went on to earn her Masters Degree in Social Worker, Clinical Concentration, from the Loyola University of Chicago in 1987. She completed clinical internships at Northwest Community Mental Health Center and Beacon Therapeutic School in Chicago.
During her long and illustrious career as a Clinical Social Worker, Susan has served in a variety of different capacities and worked at every level of management and responsibility. She has worked as a Medical Social Worker and later as Director of Social Work Services at Norwegian-American Hospital in Chicago. From 2001 – present, Susan has worked in various capacities at Beacon Therapeutic Diagnostic and Treatment Center in Chicago. Most recently, she has been promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer of the Center. Susan’s broad-based background and years of applied experience have enabled her to reach a wide array of clients – including work with children, adolescents, and adults and geriatric clients.
Susan joined Dr. Parisi & Associates, P.C. in 2017 and works at Dr. Parisi’s suburban Mount Prospect outpatient practice on a part-time basis. Susan lives in Chicago and is fully bilingual in Spanish – English.
